LSD and Mileage Run before the race

I am not saying that proven to be marathoner or ultramarathoner on my end without taking an important note in finishing a race. A proper training on before the said date of your schedule race is important whatever you are doing especially these season that most of us runners gaining pounds with delicious foods taking on noche buena with the family. On my experience which the work calls in an IT industry manage to have a mileage after the shift along my workplace at around 2am-3am that will keep more focus on my endurance and speed to catch on the cut-off initialize by race directors in different running community groups. Endurance that keep going up to finish line. Have find yourself time (depending the budget for membership in the gym in around the Metro) before or after work. Cross training will help for keep my strength going. If had plans to have more 50 miler races. Sleep is important, Runner who has not yet rest or sleep more 8 hours on before the race will keep you going and have the strong finish(lack of sleep that may collapse at the mid of the race that might end you DNF“Did Not Finish” the race.

Condura Skyway Marathon moved 2015

For those runners wants to participate on the Condura Skyway Marathon and wondering why organizer’s haven’t prepare for this annual SkyWay Run. An Open letter was sent here  that will having a rebuild and relief operation for the victims of typhoon Yolanda:

Unbreakable IBTUR88 Experience

An experience route that ever in the history of Ultra Marathon was having an additional kilometers plus the trails might be a dangerous on my end with a week with a high level route that me as an Ultra marathoner that will be more challenging to test on passing those route. Every ultramarathoner experience a DNF status is not a shameless to announce if a runner experience injuries or you cannot make it on your half-way to finish mark. If you study the route that could be consider a mileage for those going to the TNF100 or BDM(Bataan Death March) for next year.

Much anticipated race on my calendar that this is dedicated t my father just passed away recently and my co-office mate, friend on the road just completed the run trio last year passed away last April of this year. For the full-marathoners, if there are preparations made that they will more achievable to meet the cut-off but if some runners have minimal preparation just based on my experience when I had my Condura Skyway Marathon just this year, during the race that I had injury on to half way on my finish line, despite my time-in: 8:51, it is okay to experience a long-distance race first for the new full marathoners will join the RUPM2013 42km race.

First 50km T2K Ultramarathon

On before the race for my first 50km, I just wondering if these race gonna push through due that the roads. I know the first kilometer race that I’ve been on the race but looking for a CR distracts me a lot that gonna push myself, but on the half way of the race that injury trigger could force me to do run walk within the race track, I kept my mind that my friend is also want to be part of my post birthday ultramarathon race as an angel but  he is also proud that I have the first 50km race. For me, the route is ok although we had the typhoon after the race their in Cavite no quitting and boosting my confidence to finish is with my former office mates whom I just have their system support  . The place where flooded that’s why it’s difficult to pass the route across the finish line. A shocking news came that there where runners bandit the race due to a technical reasons. First thing to remember in Ultramarathon not just you ran either 50km or more km, A race that would take challenges and overcome your fear also. Do not bypass the routes that was design by the race director that will consider as a runner a technical that could not join further on the next race.

1st Run United Philippine Marathon

 It’s so happened that I missed the two legs of Run United is because everything is on my profession but the schedule is not good to have time more on training. Anyway, This will be my comeback on the at Run United that this race dedicated to a friend not just on the office and on the road died last April 2013. The preparations are keep on going on before the Rizal 2 Laguna 50km UltraMarathon race on October 27. Yeah! this will be part of my preparation for another 50km race that I also sharing also to him. Even when he still alive. I know that he wanted to keep compete in UltraMarathon races upon his health condition. I have also extended my communication with the #TeamTitans that he will be proud to be a Titan and his friends that he with the races that he with, they will also join here in the 2013 Run United Philippine Marathon that would also dedicated to him. On the day of the race, I almost scolded the youngest brother to remind me that the start of the race at 3:00AM, he almost forgot to wake me up, hmmm! quite disappointed that I haven’t catch the start of the race but thank god with the Runrio marshal allow me to catch-up at the mid of the 42km race just for my preparation to Rizal 2 Laguna 50km UltraMarathon Race. Hmmm! I have to make it earlier next time.

T2K Preparation and the race

The preparations on 50km race that would have this race more meaningful for us that would help me to fulfill being as an ultramarathoner. As I have checked after office here in Metro Manila that condition myself through walking  as long that I could get a public utility vehicle that’s make me sense and have the opportunity to practice just for the preparation on  this up and coming 50 km Ultramarathon race on my post 31st birthday celebration. The time is more pressure to meet the cut-off at 9am the next day but the trainings with or without the team will boost my confidence as a person too. LSD and test run held on the same route just along Metro Manila that will able to test my strength further on the longest race that I’ll be competing on my post birthday celebration.

The first experience to have the race was they’ve tested my endurance and strength despite the obstacles that came on the race, but the chip in time was and very proud to say to have:  2:45:45:02. But for a better preparation as an urban-athlete. They have a series of boot-camp that will be dealing here in BGC.

Adidas KOTR 2013 Happenings

Much an improving on the record from the last run I had back in 2011, An overwhelming comeback that I had with aNR Community thou I thought that I am living alone. With my running team had a free stretching and massage, hmmm! what a relief for me along with my youngest brother had and enjoyed a lot on this event. As a preparation for me on T2K 50km Ultramarathon race these August, that will keep myself on right condition despite the rotation schedule I had on my present office. A relief and enjoyed a lot with my running team #AyalaTriads but also the other running teams including the #LaUnionRunners who were also in the event to have a cheer boost to all the runners competing in this year Adidas KOTR 2013. Expected on the lead, lucky our elite pinoy runners where catching up on the race but the Kenyans are still the race as always. I was thinking of a better training to keep faster. Having an implement a carbo-loading program on the tough condition also. Having a free massage and stretching after the race with other runners conducted with the team. Building more friendship, that’s how the running community does. Knowing that there were athletes where also known well-celebrities on their own respective fields. A great feeling for comeback to have second KOTR this year also to give tribute to one of the runner who just died a month, he gonna missed joining this event wherever he goes, just a give more memories also on my first KOTR then back 2011.

It is also #throwbackrace in 2011 when I had my first King of the Road. Hmmm! thou I have preparing for the race dedicated to a friend whom I also with him on the same event race organize by Runrio Inc.  that I should dedicated to him who just passed away due to pneumonia. A race will dedicated with the Team Titans that the same year and event join to this running team. This year with my running team the Ayala Triads are once again to be part of the King of the Road racing event but it will be on the Southeast Asia Region that could redeemed myself back on track as a Runner.
